SPRINGFIELD, Mass.-The College of Saint Rose extended its unbeaten streak to four matches with tonight's 1-0 triumph at
Northeast-10 Conference rival American International.

The Golden Knights (3-0-1/2-0-0 NE10) dominated the action by outshooting the host Yellow Jackets (2-2-0/1-1-0 NE10) by a 19-2 margin, including a 7-0 mark throughout the first half.

Roxana Hernandez scored the game's lone goal when she knocked home a loose ball in the area with 16:26 gone by. Seven seconds earlier, junior midfielder
Julianne Johnston created the stir by rifling a shot off the crossbar.

Marika Laurendeau was called upon to make one save throughout her second clean sheet this fall. In the process, she lowered her goals-against-average to 0.25 on the year. Junior Mikayla Demanche recorded four of her six saves in the second half for American International.

Looking ahead, both sides have road conference matches on tap for Saturday. Saint Rose heads to New Haven to take on Southern Connecticut State at 6:00 pm, while the Yellow Jackets travel to Rindge, N.H. to meet Franklin Pierce at 4:30 pm.
