GOLDEN KNIGHTS DEFEAT POST, 3-1

SAINT ROSE SWEPT BY MOLLOY, 3-0

WATERBURY, Conn. - The College of Saint Rose volleyball team split a pair of contests at the Post Invitational.  The Golden Knights defeated Post 3-1 (25-18, 18-25, 25-23, 25-17) and were swept by Molloy (9-25,16-25,17-25).

In the opener, the Golden Knights erased a 5-1 deficit with 18 of the next 28 points to take the crucial third set.  Junior middle blocker Shayna Webber paced the Saint Rose (5-3) attack with 11 kills on a .320 attack percentage.  Webber also led the Golden Knights with six kills against Molloy (7-2).

Junior setter Sam Kubik assisted on 47 points, while sophomore libero Tina Ceriello dug 28 Eagle and Lion attacks. 

Saint Rose visits Dominican on Thursday, September 14 at 7pm.
