GOLDEN KNIGHTS SALVAGE A SPLIT AT NEW HAVEN

WEST HAVEN, CONN.–The College of Saint Rose pounded out 10 hits to take the second game 4-2 of a Northeast-10 Conference Saturday afternoon doubleheader at New Haven. The Golden Knights (10-19/8-7 NE10) fell 10-0 in the first game.

Sophomore right fielder Briana Bowen led the attack with a 3-for-4 game two. Junior designated player Jadyn Costello twice drove in Bowen with a hit, while sophomore infielder Alina Germinerio went 2-for-2 with a walk.

Junior right-hander Dana Nicoletti logged her 12th complete game of the season, allowing just six hits and whiffing five.
