ALBANY–The College of Saint Rose jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the fourth, but visiting American International tied it in the sixth and scored three times in the seventh to upend the Golden Knights 4-2 in
Northeast-10 Conference action today.

Saint Rose (4-22/3-10 NE10) left two runners on base three times to allow the Yellow Jackets (10-21/5-11 NE10) to grab the victory. The latter scored three times on two hits in the seventh to put themselves in the driver's seat.

Senior shortstop
Tyler Ungerland slapped a base hit through the left side in the fourth and freshman shortstop
Andrew Pedone added an RBI groundout in the seventh to account for the two Golden Knights runs.

On the mound, junior right-hander
Caleb Gregg hurled 3.0 innings of shutout, one hit ball out of the bullpen. Gregg has now allowed only one earned run throughout his last six appearances that cover 12.1 innings of work.

For American International, sophomore shortstop Brandon Carter went 2-for-4 and scored a run while freshman right-hander Ryan Bruning allowed two runs on four hits in 6.2 innings of work to pick up his first collegiate win.

Saint Rose is back home this weekend with a three-game NE10 divisional series versus New Haven. Meanwhile, the Yellow Jackets return home tomorrow for a 3:30 pm game versus league rival Saint Anselm.
