CLERMONT, Fla. – The College of Saint Rose concluded its annual Florida trip with a pair of setbacks. The Golden Knights (2-10) fell to LIU Post 10-1 and 1-0 to Mercyhurst.
The Lakers (1-12) scratched together an unearned run off junior right-hander Dana Nicoletti in the first for the only run of the second game.

Saint Rose, which totaled seven hits, mounted a two-out rally in the bottom of the seventh on back-to-back singles by Nicoletti and sophomore utility
Briana Bowen However, Mercyhurst secured the final out to leave Nicoletti stranded 60 feet away from home.
The morning opened with the Pioneers (4-2) ending it early.
In the fourth, Bowen tripled with one out and scored on a groundout by senior infielder
Carly Wood for the Golden Knights' tally.
