HARTFORD–The College of Saint Rose hung around with seventh ranked and defending
Northeast-10 Conference champion Southern New Hampshire throughout a doubleheader that concluded near midnight Saturday on the Trinity College campus.
The Penmen (14-4/4-10 NE10) ultimately won the opener 2-1 and took the finale 6-1 of a twin-bill that was moved from Albany due to the effects of lingering winter weather.

Junior first baseman Ryan Sullivan had a pair of hits for Southern New Hampshire.

In the finale, the Penmen jumped out to a 4-1 lead after three innings and then added a run in the fourth and another in the eighth. DeLuca and sophomore designated hitter
Kenny Fils-Aime had two hits each for Saint Rose, while Sullivan finished 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored for the Penmen.
