Â
The third set was the same story but with a different ending. The home team went on a 6-0 run to take an 18-12 lead. Following a timeout, the Skyhawks battled back to make it 21-19 in favor of Saint Rose. A bad set by Givens and kill by Schweitzer followed to extend the Golden Knights' lead to 23-19. That when the tide turned. The Skyhawks took advantage of four Saint Rose attack errors to steal the 25-23 set victory.
Â
After Stonehill tied the score in another defense-oriented fourth set, the Skyhawks fought back from fifth set deficits of 9-6, 12-10, 13-11 and 14-13 to complete the comeback.
Â

Â

Â
