Northeast-10 Conference action.

Karissa Birthwright led the Golden Knights (3-3/1-3 NE10) in the Upstate Challenge contest with 12 points on 5-for 8 shooting. Junior forward
Zoe McDonald added a career-high 10 points for the visitors. Meanwhile, the Dolphins (4-3/2-2 NE10) received 15 points apiece from sophomore guard McKayla Roberts and senior guard Nicole Riddick.

Saint Rose knocked down its first four shots to go up 8-5 with 6:17 left in the first quarter. The Dolphins then closed the period on a 9-4 run that would yield a 26-17 halftime advantage.

The Golden Knights opened the third quarter on a 6-2 run to cut their deficit to five, 28-23, with 4:34 left in the period. However, junior guard Madison Purcell shortly followed with a pair of threes to give Le Moyne a 12-point advantage. The game got no closer than six from there on out.

Looking ahead, both teams have NE10 road games on Saturday. Saint Rose plays at New Haven at 1:00 pm, while Le Moyne is at Pace at 1:30 pm.
