SYRACUSE –The College of Saint Rose suffered its first Northeast-10 Conference loss of the year with tonight's 59-43 setback at Upstate Challenge rival and #17 Le Moyne. The Golden Knights (6-3/2-1 NE10) shot 24.0 percent (6-for-25) from long distance and made a mere four trips to the foul line.

Junior forward
Matt Cerutti registered his second career "double-double" with 11 points and 10 rebounds to propel Saint Rose. Senior forward
Jack Jones added 13 points throughout 25 minutes of reserve duty.

Tom Brown went 5-for-9 from the floor to lead four Dolphins (7-1/4-0 NE10) in twin figures. He also hauled in 11 boards, 10 from the defensive glass, and dished out a pair of assists.

The contest was close throughout the first half as Le Moyne walked in the locker room with a 20-17 halftime advantage. The Dolphins then assumed control with a 28-4 run that transformed a 29-28 deficit into a commanding 56-33 lead with 5:10 remaining.

Looking ahead, the Golden Knights are back on the road Saturday for a 3:00 pm conference date at New Haven. Meanwhile, the Dolphins are also on the road with a 3:30 pm NE10 meeting at Pace University.
