MANCHESTER, N.H.-The College of Saint Rose played to a 1-1 draw today at
Northeast-10 Conference rival Southern New Hampshire in a match that featured a pair of sides with deep postseason run aspirations.

Carlletia Savizon accounted for the Golden Knights (12-3-2/10-3-1 NE10) strike with her first collegiate goal and sophomore keeper
Marika Laurendeau made four of her seven saves in overtime to lead the charge.

Senior forward Abigail Marker scored for the Penmen (12-2-4/9-1-4 NE10) who entered the evening unbeaten in their previous five matches.

Savizon headed home a pass from junior midfielder
Sophia Constantine with 37:52 expired, before Marker created space for herself in the area to deadlock the game with 72:40 gone by.

Southern New Hampshire proceeded to manufacture to a 6-1 shot advantage throughout the two overtime sessions, but Laurendeau and the Saint Rose defense stood stout to keep the affair level.

Going forward, the Golden Knights will open their postseason docket Tuesday with an NE10 Championship Quarterfinal home match versus sixth seed Assumption. Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm from Sullivan Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex.
Notes: The third seed Golden Knights are seeking their eighth NE10 title within an 11-year stretch…Saint Rose and Franklin Pierce are the only two programs to have captured seven championships… Overall, the Golden Knights are 28-10-1 in NE-10 Championship play throughout their 17-year league tenure and have made 15 semifinal appearances in addition to eight finals appearances…Saint Rose has outscored its opponents 17-2 in the first half this season…The Golden Knights have outshot them by a 257-185 margin as well…Fourteen different players have at least one goal…This is the 18th consecutive year that Saint Rose has won at least 10 matches.
