ALBANY-The College of Saint Rose gave perennial power Southern New Hampshire all it could handle before falling 2-1 today at Sullivan Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex. The Golden Knights manufactured a 6-4 shot-on-goal advantage, but the Penmen (11-2-1/8-2-1 NE10) struck with the decisive goal in the 62nd minute to run their win streak to five matches.

However, Southern New Hampshire countered when senior forward Michael Rowley one-timed home a feed from sophomore midfielder Romain Daniellou. The latter lined a volley to the middle of the area from 40-yards out on the right side.

th minute. In the 83

Niv Fogel ran onto a restart and whistled a shot from 20-yards out that just cleared the crossbar.
Looking ahead, both sides have home conference dates Tuesday. Saint Rose hosts Southern Connecticut State at 5:00 pm, while the Penmen welcome Merrimack for a 7:00 pm encounter.
