GARDEN CITY, N.Y.-The College of Saint Rose suffered its first road loss of the year with tonight's 2-0 setback at sixth–ranked and
Northeast-10 Conference rival Adelphi. In the process, the Panthers (13-0-0/11-0-0 NE10) remained one of only three of the country's unbeaten or untied NCAA Division II teams.

Adelphi registered its two strikes 17 minutes apart midway through the second half. Sophomore midfielder Sabrina Blaskovic chipped a pass to senior forward Taylor Sipos who drove a shot inside the right post with 57:03 expired. Freshman forward Jacqueline Diffley then finished a cross in the area from sophomore forward Erica Bleimeyer with 73:58 gone by to close out the scoring.

Marika Laurendeau made seven of her career-high 10 saves throughout the first half, while at the other end freshman Isabel Sandstrom registered six saves en route to her seventh shutout of the year.

Looking ahead, both sides have home non-conference dates Thursday. The Golden Knights welcome Nyack to Sullivan Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex for a 6:00 pm meeting, while the Panthers host Wilmington at 7:00 pm.
