NORTH ANDOVER, MA-Host Merrimack scored midway through the first half and added two more in the second to upend The College of Saint Rose 3-0 in
Northeast-10 Conference action this evening. In the process, the Warriors (8-1/5-0 NE-10) ran their win streak to six matches and improved to 4-0 at home.

Merrimack junior back Mattia Lanzi struck twice and also set up the other goal. Senior midfielder Connor O'Brien accounted for the third marker.

Suleiman Haruna-iya all engineered shots-on-target for the Golden Knights (2-6/0-5 NE-10). Meanwhile, senior keeper

Lanzi curled in a volley from 15-yards out for what proved to be the game winner with 26:49 elapsed. O'Brien then finished a set piece that Lanzi initiated in the opening three minutes of the second stanza, before the latter closed out the scoring in the game's final 19 minutes.

Looking ahead, Saint Rose is back on the road Sunday for a 1:00 pm match at conference rival Bentley in Waltham, MA. Meanwhile, Merrimack has a 6:00 pm home date Saturday versus 16th ranked Adelphi.
