SAINT ROSE FALLS AT #24 STONEHILL


NORTH EASTON, MA–Twenty-fourth ranked and host Stonehill scored three times in a 10 minute span early in the first half to upend The College of Saint Rose 8-1 in Northeast-10 Conference action this afternoon. The Skyhawks (6-0/2-0 NE-10) developed a 19-6 shot advantage to keep their unblemished record intact.
 
Senior back Elisa Galbiati finished a feed from freshman midfielder Nina Predanic to run her goal scoring streak to four games. Meanwhile, sophomore Madison Taylor came up with six saves for the Golden Knights (4-2/1-2 NE-10).
 
Looking ahead, Saint Rose is back on the pitch Tuesday when it is scheduled to visit Upstate Challenge rival Le Moyne for a 4:00 pm date in Syracuse. Meanwhile, Stonehill is back in action Wednesday for a 4:00 pm home encounter versus NE-10 rival Southern New Hampshire 4:00 pm.
