ALBANY-The College of Saint Rose engineered a lopsided fourth set to clinch Friday night's match against Millersville, 3-1 (20-25, 25-20, 25-19, 25-14), in non-league action held inside Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium.

After trading wins in the first two sets, the Golden Knights outlasted the Marauders in set three to take a 2-1 advantage. Next, Saint Rose jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the fourth and led by as many as 12 (23-11) before senior outside hitter
Maryellen Devic notched the emphatic game-winning kill.

The Golden Knights took advantage of long rallies and balanced play in the final set. They recorded 14 kills, three service aces and two blocks.

Devic finished with a match-high 16 kills in addition to 10 digs, five blocks and two aces. Junior middle hitter
Maddy Halverson totaled nine kills on 18 attempts and a match-best six blocks.

 Jennifer Gundrum collected eight kills and two blocks. Sophomore middle hitter
Shayna Webber also totaled eight kills behind a .375 attack percentage and tallied three blocks.

For the Marauders, freshman outside hitter Haley Butler and junior outside hitter Erin Harman finished with 12 kills apiece.
