Northeast-10 Conference rival American International, 6-3, in its 2016 home opener held indoors at Tri-City Fitness on Saturday afternoon.

Averie Bowen picked up a win at No. 1 singles with a 6-3, 7-6, victory over Carleyah McLean. The duo of Bowen and junior
Alanna Bergmann defeated Carleyah McLean and Logan Smith at No. 2 doubles.

Rounding out the scoring for the Golden Knights was sophomore
Wendella Wilson, who defeated Yliannis Knaggs by scores of 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5 singles.

Up next, Saint Rose hosts Saint Michael's on Sunday, September 11 at 1:00 pm. The match will again be held at Tri-City Fitness in Latham, NY due to impending weather.
