Northeast-10 Conference matchup on a gorgeous afternoon at Cathy Haker Field.

New Haven (23-14/12-11 NE-10) opened the scoring in the top of the first inning when its first three batters singled and plated two runs.

Junior left fielder
Carly Wood led off the home half of the second with a single and later scored on a game-tying, two-run double by sophomore third baseman
Jadyn Costello.

The Golden Knights (13-26/7-14 NE-10) took a 4-2 lead in the bottom of the third when freshman first baseman
Briana Bowen launched a triple to right field to score Wood and freshman pinch runner
Grace Jacobs.

Nicole Wickham looked sharp in her final collegiate start, striking out four over 5.2 innings of work. Freshman righty
Roma Mazzariello pitched 1.1 scoreless innings out of the pen to pick up her first save.
