FLORENCE, S.C.-The College of Saint Rose fell to No. 14 Millersville, 14-3, on Saturday morning before dropping a 28-9 affair to host and 15th-ranked Francis Marion.

The Golden Knights (0-6) struck first in Saturday's opener when freshman outfielder
Kody Skype singled-home junior infielder
Mike Flynn and junior catcher
Tom Moore in the second inning. However, Millersville (9-1) scored five runs in the fourth and eight in the eighth to take control of the game.

In today's second game, seven different Golden Knights recorded an RBI, but Saint Rose could not keep pace with the hot-hitting Patriots (12-2). Junior catcher
Joe Deluca and sophomore infielder
Chris Introcaso each doubled, while junior shortstop
Tyler Ungerland tallied a team-best two RBIs. Sophomore third baseman
Bray Curreri went 1-for-2 with a run scored, RBI and two walks.

Saint Rose scored four runs in the top of the third inning to cut the Francis Marion lead to 7-4, but the Patriots responded with three runs in the home half and kept the Golden Knights at arm's length for the remainder of the contest.

Up next, the Golden Knights have nearly two weeks off from competition before visiting Millersville to take on the Marauders on Friday, March 11 for an 11 a.m. non-conference tilt.
