PLESANTVILLE, NY-The College of Saint Rose held host Pace University to a pair of field goals throughout the final 9:40 to upend the Setters 65-55 in

Â
"I like the chemistry that we're finding right now. We're getting different guys to step up every game. Tonight was an example of that. I thought our defense, particularly in the last 10 minutes was outstanding", said head coach
Brian Beaury.
Â
Junior forward
Jack Jones led the way with 20 points, junior guard
Mical-Ryan Boyd, senior guard
Damon Coleman, and senior forward
Tyler Sayre tossed in 12, 11 and 10 points respectively to help propel the balanced attack.
Â
The game was tied five times throughout the opening 29 minutes and was a one point, 54-53, affair with 6:48 to go. Two minutes later, Jones knocked down a trey, Coleman hit a pair of free throws, and Boyd drained a jumper to put the Golden Knights in control, 61-53 with 1:42 to go.
Â
Guard Christian White, a graduate student, was the lone Pace (2-3/0-2 NE-10) player in twin-figures with 13 points.
