ALBANY-The College of Saint Rose completed a 3-0 (25-17, 25-22, 25-17) sweep of visiting Franklin Pierce in a Northeast-10 Conference match on Friday night at Nolan Gym.
 
Senior outside hitter 
Maryellen Devic totaled 13 kills and 15 digs, while senior middle blocker
 Jennifer Gundrum hit .438 with eight kills to pace the Golden Knights offense.
 
The Golden Knights (8-10/3-4 NE-10) scored the final six points of the opening set and controlled play throughout all three sets. In the middle of game two Saint Rose made a critical 6-2 run to take an 18-11 lead that the Ravens (6-12/2-4 NE-10) were unable to overcome. In the final set, the Golden Knights turned a 4-4 deadlock into an 11-4 advantage and kept Franklin Pierce at arm's length the rest of the way.
 
Senior outside hitter 
Rachel Salasky finished with 10 kills behind a .316 attack percentage. Senior setter 
Erica Ziskin tallied 15 assists and 10 digs, while junior setter 
Cara Kullman piled up 16 assists and nine digs.
 
Looking ahead, Saint Rose hosts its tri-match tomorrow and will take on Southern New Hampshire at 12:00 pm and LIU Post at 4:00 pm.
