SAINT ROSE FALLS AT BENTLEY, 7-2

WALTHAM, MA-The College of Saint Rose fell 7-2 in a Northeast-10 Conference match at Bentley on Saturday afternoon.
 
Junior Averie Bowen improved to 4-5 at No. 1 singles this season with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Rachel Petrini. She also paired up with junior Alanna Bergmann for an 8-4 triumph versus Corrie MacLean and Tiffany Suchanek. The duo now improves to 5-4 on the season.
 
At No. 2 singles, freshman Emily Farrell won five games, but ultimately fell, 6-3, 6-2. Bergmann picked up four points at No. 4 singles, but could not overcome Jill Kamphaus.
 
Going forward, the Golden Knights will take on Adelphi on Wednesday, October 5 at 2:30 pm in Garden City, NY.
