Taylor Nazon (17) each recorded career highs in points on Wednesday evening, as The College of Saint Rose defeated Southern New Hampshire, 71-67, in a Northeast-10 Conference showdown inside Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium.

Saint Rose (9-4/4-3 NE-10) trailed SNHU (10-4/4-4) by a 36-32 margin in the opening half after the Penmen scored 16 points off 11 Golden Knight turnovers.

The teams traded 17 points in the third period before Saint Rose used a 15-4 run at the 9:38 mark of the fourth period to take a 64-60 lead, with 3:02 to go. The Penmen got to within one at 65-64, but the Golden Knights were able to close out the game with a layup and four free-throws.

In addition to her career night in the scoring column, Barrett also grabbed 11 boards (seven offensive) to collect her second "double-double" of the season.

Nazon made the most of her work at the free-throw line by going 8-for-10. Overall, the Golden Knights recorded season highs in makes (18) and attempts (23).

Senior guard
Keyontae Williams totaled 11 points, while senior forward
Sarah Illingworth racked up a game-high 12 rebounds.

Freshman forward Kylie Lorenzen tallied 16 points, 10 rebounds, three steals and two assists to lead SNHU.

Saint Rose returns to the hardwood when it travels to Manchester, N.H. on Saturday, January 9 to take on Saint Anselm in a Northeast-10 Conference matchup at 1:30 p.m.
