ALBANY – Post University handed The College of Saint Rose women's tennis team a 9-0 blanking Monday afternoon in non-conference action at the UAlbany Tennis Courts.
The Golden Knights dropped to 3-9 overall, while the Eagles improved to 6-1.
Sophomore
Averie Bowen and senior
Isabella Cubillos battled at No. 1 doubles, but came up short, falling to sophomore Liza Dubrovskaya and freshman Madison Young 8-6. Senior

Alanna Bergmann fell 8-2 at second, and sophomore
KeriAnn Mahoney and senior
Maria Malafronte were unable to nab a single point, registering an 8-0 loss at No. 3.
Bowen fell to junior Diana Perez 6-3, 6-1 atop the singles column, as did Cubillos 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 with Dubrovskaya. Southwick put up a fight at third, as did Mahoney at fourth, both recording losses.
Bergmann took a 6-2, 6-1 defeat from freshman Jessica Bergen, and Malafronte went scoreless at No. 6.
Saint Rose hits the road on Tuesday for its fourth match in so many days, with a 3:30 pm meeting at Northeast-10 Conference foe New Haven. The Golden Knights return home on Saturday to face Bentley at noon at Kelton Courts at Myers Middle School.
