Scouting Saint Rose (3-8): The Golden Knights are coming off an 0-2 weekend on the road, dropping matches to Northeast-10 Conference foes Saint Anselm on Saturday and Assumption on Sunday. Sophomore Averie Bowen leads Saint Rose with a 5-5 mark at first singles, followed by seniors Isabella Cubillos and Paige Southwick, both with 3-6 records at second and third, respectively. Bowen and Cubillos register an impressive 7-3 record at No. 1 doubles, while Southwick combines with sophomore Alanna Bergmann for a 4-6 mark at second.
Scouting Post (5-1): Having dropped just one match so far this season, the Eagles enter Monday's contest at 5-1 overall, recording their lone loss to Stonehill 5-4 in the campaign opener. Junior Diana Perez and sophomore Liza Dubrovskaya hold perfect marks at first and second singles, respectively. The third and fourth slots both sit at 4-2, occupied mainly by freshman Madison Young and sophomore Brianna Miah, respectively. In doubles, Dubrovskaya and Young combine at No. 1, and Miah and Perez join together at No. 2 as both pairs hold 5-1 records.
Up next: Saint Rose hits the road to NE-10 foe New Haven on Tuesday for a 3:30 pm meeting, and returns home for three straight matches starting on Saturday against Bentley at noon at Kelton Courts at Myers Middle School.
