Clarion (1-7) at Saint Rose (3-3) Last meeting (9/5/08): Having not met since the 2008 season, the Golden Eagles handed Saint Rose a 3-0 loss at the East Stroudsburg Tournament. Marilyn Glamack knocked down 10 kills for the Golden Knights, while Theresa Staulo dished out 20 assists and Mary German recorded 25 digs.
Scouting Saint Rose (3-3): The Golden Knights have racked up a 3-3 record throughout the past two weekends, with stints at the Long Island Invitational and the Roberts Wesleyan Quad Match. Saint Rose defeated the hosts of both tournaments, and also collected a win over East Stroudsburg in the season opening weekend. Junior outside hitter
Maryellen Devic paces the offense with a 2.96 kills per-set average and five double-doubles so far. Senior right side
Carissa Dube follows with a 1.67 kills average. From the middle, setters

Scouting Clarion (1-7): Clarion enters Friday with just one win after defeating Fairmont State 3-1 last weekend. Sophomore Gabrielle Olson leads the Golden Eagles with 2.21 kills per-set and a .93 blocks mark, followed by junior Victoria Evans at 2.00 kills per-set. Setter Kaley Pittsley boasts an 8.90 assists average, while senior Morgan Seybold registers 4.24 digs per-set.
Up next: Saint Rose hosts non-conference foe Daemen on Saturday at 1:00 pm, and hits the road to Upstate Challenge rival Le Moyne on Tuesday for a 7:00 pm meeting. The Golden Knights return home on Saturday, October 3 to host Northeast-10 Conference foe Adelphi at 1:00 pm.
