COLCHESTER, VT-The College of Saint Rose broke open a 1-1 game by scoring three times within a 10-minute span early in the second half to upend host Saint Michael's 4-1 in
Northeast-10 Conference action today.

The Golden Knights (4-0-1/2-0- NE-10), who are ranked ninth in this week's
NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division II Poll, have now outscored their five opponents by a 19-4 margin.

Jennifer Busk scored twice while sophomore forward
Morgan Burchhardt had a goal and an assist to lead the Saint Rose attack. Junior forward
Kristin Carr accounted for the insurance tally when she finished a pair of quick touches from Burchhardt and freshman midfielder/back
Sophia Constantine to make it a 3-1 game with 58:21 elapsed.

Busk knocked home a rebound with just 2:30 gone by to afford the Golden Knights a 1-0 advantage at intermission. The Purple Knights (1-3-1/0-2 NE-10) tied the game six minutes after halftime when senior midfielder Meagan Brady scored on a breakaway. Five minutes later, Busk intercepted a clearing attempt for what proved to be the game-winner.

Looking ahead, both teams have NE-10 matches scheduled for Saturday. Saint Rose will host Stonehill at 2:00 pm while the Purple Knights will head to Long Island to take on Adelphi at 3:00 pm.
