FLORENCE, SC–The College of Saint Rose manufactured just a pair of hits in this afternoon's 4-1 loss to Lenoir-Rhyne in the final day of action at the Carolinas Hospital System Baseball Classic that was hosted by Francis Marion University.

Junior right-hander
Phillip Zdanowski tossed 3.0 innings of no-hit ball out of the bullpen and junior outfielder
Nick Venier stroked an RBI triple in the eighth that scored sophomore shortstop
Tyler Ungerland with the Golden Knights (0-3) only run.

Meanwhile, junior center fielder Will Thompson went 3-for-3 with a walk and three RBI to lead the Bears (1-1), who scored once in both the second and fourth innings, before adding two more in the eighth.

Looking ahead, Saint Rose is off until Friday, February 20 when the Golden Knights will play four games throughout a three-day weekend in Virginia. Meanwhile, the Lenoir-Rhyne will play its home opener next Saturday, February 7, with a 1:00 pm doubleheader versus West Virginia State.
