ALBANY-The College of Saint Rose shot 66.7 percent (38-of-57) from the field on Sunday night, as 12 different players scored for the Golden Knights in a 95-56 victory over the College of Saint Joseph in a non-conference tilt held inside Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium.
Junior forward
Tyler Sayre scored a game-high 17 points and tallied three assists and two blocks.
Three other players for Saint Rose (5-1) scored in double figures including sophomore forwards
Julian Lipinski (14),
Anthony Russell (13) and
Jack Jones (12).
Freshman forward
Pharroh Gordon filled up the stat sheet with six points, five assists, five rebounds and two steals. Senior guard
Max Weaver totaled seven points, four assists and four boards.
The Golden Knights held a decisive 35-17 advantage on the glass, and recorded 27 assists to just nine for Saint Joseph's (5-2).
Saint Rose shot a season-best 10-of-18 (55.6 percent) from three-point range.
