ALBANY-The College of Saint Rose used a 37-15 run over the second and third periods on Tuesday night, and kept the Setters at arm's length for the remainder of the contest, ultimately defeating Pace, 58-46, in a Northeast-10 Southwestern Division matchup at Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium.

Post presence played a deciding factor in Tuesday's matchup, as the top two scorers and rebounders for Saint Rose (3-2/2-1 NE-10) were starting forwards. Â Junior
Staci Barrett totaled a season-high 15 points and eight rebounds, while freshman
 Karissa Birthwright tallied 13 points and eight boards.

The Golden Knights held a 32-18 advantage in the paint. Barrett shot 6-for-12 (50.0 percent) from the floor and Birthwright was 5-for-10 (50.0 percent).

Pace (3-2/1-1 NE-10) held a 16-9 lead after the opening period but scored just 30 points over the final three frames. The Setters were limited to 18-of-52 (34.6 percent) shooting from the field, while Saint Rose was 22-for-50 (44.0 percent).

Senior guard
Keyontae Williams shot 5-for-8 (62.5 percent) and finished with 11 points and four rebounds. Sophomore guard
Britani Stowe scored six points and dished out five assists.

For Pace, junior center Kirsten Dodge shot 8-for-12 (75.0 percent) and totaled a game-high 19 points (career-high) and 11 rebounds.
