ALBANY–The College of Saint Rose wrapped its 2015 campaign with this afternoon's 7-2 Senior Day victory against visiting Daemen College at the University at Albany bubble.

Sophomore Averie Bowen and seniors Isabella Cubillos, Paige Southwick, and Maria Malafronte all won both their singles and doubles matches to spearhead the Golden Knights (5-13) effort.

Saint Rose put itself in control by winning all three doubles matches. Bowen and Cubillos upended freshman Jessica Robins and junior Hayle Scanlan 8-2 at the first flight, while Southwick and sophomore Alanna Bergmann, and Malafronte and sophomore KeriAnn Mahoney, chalked up identical 8-4 victories in the second and third flights respectively.

Bowen, Cubillos, and Southwick then all won easily at the first three singles flights. Bowen defeated Scanlan 6-2, 6-3; Cubillos upended Gretchen Ringler 6-0, 6-3; and Southwick prevailed 6-4, 6-2 versus Robins. Malafronte chalked up the final Saint Rose point with an 8-3 triumph at sixth singles.

Following today's match; Cubillos, Malafronte, and Southwick were all recognized for their outstanding collegiate careers.
