SYRACUSE–A complete sweep forced The College of Saint Rose tennis team to drop a 9-0 decision to Northeast-10 Conference foe Le Moyne (5-5/4-3 NE-10) in an Upstate Challenge match Tuesday afternoon at Skytop Tennis Courts.

Juniors Isabela Cubillos and Paige Southwick, along with senior Megan Stacklum and freshman KeriAnn Mahoney, both suffered 8-2 losses and first and second doubles, respectively. Freshman Alanna Bergmann and junior Maria Malafronte dropped an 8-4 decision at No. 3.

Southwick was swept in singles, falling 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2. Bergmann and Malafronte both registered 6-1, 6-0 marks at fifth and sixth singles, respectively. Cubillos dropped a 6-0, 6-2 decision at No. 1, and Stacklum registered a 6-1, 6-1 loss at No. 2, and Mahoney lost at fourth singles 6-2, 6-1.  

Saint Rose (2-8/1-7 NE-10) returns home for a pair of matches on Saturday and Sunday against Saint Anslem at 1:00 pm and Saint Michael's at 11:00 am, respectively. Both games will be held at Kelton Courts.
