Scouting Saint Rose (0-2): The College of Saint Rose volleyball team suffered a pair of losses at the Dowling Tournament last weekend, falling 3-2 in a heart-breaking match to NYIT, and later a 3-1 loss to the host Golden Lions. Junior outside hitter Kelsey Lace paced the attack with a 2.33 kills per set average. Senior setter Tori Daniels dished out 3.67 assists per set, and senior libero Katy Daniels put up a 5.56 digs per set mark. From the middle, sophomore middle blocker Maryellen Devic racked up 11 blocks on the weekend for a 1.22 blocks per set average. 
 
Scouting Pitt-Johnstown (3-0): The Mountain Cats opened their 2014 slate with an undefeated record (3-0) at the IUP Classic, picking up wins over West Virginia Weslyan, University of Charleston and Malone. Sophomore outside hitter Marissa Erminio leads the attack with 3.00 kills per set, followed by freshman middle hitter Kendall Mahoney at 2.85 kills per set. Senior setter Nikki Oakes registers a team-high 4.23 assists per set average, and freshman libero Devan Orr's 5.31 digs per set is also a team-high. From the middle, freshman middle hitter Madeline George boasts 16 total blocks on the season for a 1.23 per set average.
 
Scouting Roberts Wesleyan (4-1): The Redhawks enter this weekend's tri-match with five games under their belts, which includes four wins, three of which at the Georgian Court Tournament. freshman outside hitter Courtney Taylor paces the offense with a 3.06 kills per set average. Junior middle blocker Kendall Havener sits just behind with a 2.53 average. Junior setter Maggie Concannon boasts an 8.53 assists per set ration, while senior middle blocker Jordan Wilson registers a team-high seven total blocks.
