Northeast-10 Conference rival Le Moyne to take away a 5-4 victory earlier today.
In the process, the Dolphins tied the year-long and third annual
Upstate Challenge series 6.0-6.0 between the two institutions. The match also marked the 2013-14 Golden Knights season finale.
Sophomore
Paige Southwick upended senior Kristine Kenny 6-4, 6-4 at the top singles flight while freshman
Gabriella Pizzanelli took a hard fought 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 win at the second single flight.
In the third flight, junior
Maggie Moran upended senior Christine Flask 6-3, 6-1 while junior
Megan Stacklum defeated senior Maggie Reagan 8-2 at the fourth singles flight.
The Dolphins earlier won the two doubles matches by a combined 16-4 score.
