The Plot: The College of Saint Rose plays the final home match of its 2013-14 campaign this afternoon as Roberts Wesleyan visits the Capital Region for a non-conference contest. Also,
Alyssa Haddad and
Maggie Moran will be recognized prior to today's match. They are both on track to graduate in May.
Scouting Saint Rose (0-16): Sophomore
Paige Southwick has two victories at the first singles flight, while freshman
Gabriella Pizzanelli has a pair at the second flight for the Golden Knights.
Scouting Roberts Wesleyan (13-5): The Redhawks are coming off of yesterday's 9-0 victory against visiting Daemon College. They won the three doubles matches by holding the Wildcats to just one point through all three matches. At first singles, junior Tina Miller earned a victory against Daemen's Hayle Scanlan 6-4, 6-4. Roberts Wesleyan has now won three straight and is 8-3 on the road this season. Miller is 10-7 at the top singles flight, while senior Maria Jimenez is 10-6 at the second flight.
