Alyssa Haddad came up with an opening set 6-2 victory against sophomore Bianca Bernal, but was squeaked out 7-6 in the second set and 10-6 in the tiebreaker.
Furthermore, junior
Maggie Moran won four games in a defeat in the third singles flight after teaming with sophomore
Paige Southwick in an 8-2 loss at the first doubles match.
Looking ahead, Saint Rose is back on the road this Sunday, March 30 with a 1:00 pm NE-10 date at Southern New Hampshire in Manchester. Meanwhile, Adelphi has a 1:00 pm home match versus league rival Assumption this Friday, March 28.
