Last Meeting with Southern New Hampshire (11/8/13): Saint Rose left Manchester, N.H., with a 3-2 win over the Penmen last season. Sophomore middle hitter Maryellen Devic and junior outside hitter Kelsey Lace led the Saint Rose attack with 11 and 13 kills apiece. Senior setters Ariana Wilson and Tori Daniels combined for 37 assists on the evening, and senior libero Katy Daniels registered 32 digs. Junior right side Carissa Dube and Alex Gagliano put up eight blocks each, while Devic recorded seven of her own. Junior middle hitter Emma Houlihan paced the Penmen with 15 kills, while fellow junior setter Catherine Cotton assisted on 39 attacks. Cotton picked up the only double-double for the Penmen, while three others registered double-digit digs.
 
Last Meeting with Franklin Pierce (11/9/13): The Golden Knights suffered just their fourth loss of the season in a 3-2 loss to the Ravens in Rindge, N.H. Dube hit her season-high of 17 kills and a .424 hitting percentage to lead the Saint Rose offense. Wilson and Daniels (Tori) dished out 11 and 18 assists, respectively, and four different players registered double-digit digs. Sydni Schulz led the Ravens with 13 kills and 13 digs, and notched the team's only double-double. Stephanie Svorinic and Katie Jackson led from the middle with 48 assists and 11 blocks, respectively. Lauren Miller led the defense with 24 digs. 
 
Scouting Saint Rose (15-6, 7-3): Saint Rose sits undefeated (8-0) at home this season, and looks to continue that streak this weekend. The Golden Knights went 1-1 on the road last week, falling to Saint Anselm 3-1 on Friday, and defeating Saint Michael's with the same score on Saturday. Devic registers a 3.48 kills per-set average to lead the offense and rank second in the Northeast-10 Conference, followed by Lace with 2.06. Setters Daniels (Tori) and sophomore Erica Ziskin hold 4.92 and 4.56 assists per-set averages. Ziskin currently slaps 0.48 service aces per-set to sit second in the league, and 37th in the nation. Daniels (Katy) digs up 5.62 attacks per-set, also a second place mark in the conference, and 18th in the nation.
 
Scouting Southern New Hampshire (14-9, 6-5): The Penman also went 1-1 last week, falling to Adelphi 3-1, and defeating Assumption in five, both on their home floor. Freshman Marisa Coronis leads the attack with 2.44 kills per-set, while Cotton dishes out 9.61 assists per-set. Junior libero Maeghan Higgins holds down the defense with 4.49 digs per-set, and Houlihan anchors the middle with 0.57 blocks per-set.
 
Scouting Franklin Pierce (14-9, 7-4): The Ravens will make a stop at Le Moyne Friday evening, before coming to the Capital District. Franklin Pierce was shutout by Adelphi and posted a 3-0 win over Pace last week. Senior outside hitter Catie Swiderski knocks down 3.34 kills per-set, and freshman setter Hanna Runge registers 7.94 assists per-set. Runge also leads the team with 30 service aces. Junior libero Sarah Machugh holds a 4.62 digs per-set average, and freshman middle hitter Hanna St. Jean has put up 76 total blocks (0.89 per-set).
 
Up Next: Saint Rose hosts Franklin Pierce on Saturday in its final regular season home game at 1:00 pm. The match will be broadcast live on www.gogoldenknights.tv. Prior to the match, the Golden Knights will honor seniors Daniels (Tori), Daniels (Katy) and Wilson for their efforts and dedication to the program over the past four seasons.Saint Rose hits the road next Friday, November 7, for its final regular season match at Bentley beginning at 7:30 pm.
