ALBANY-The College of Saint Rose posted its second sweep in two days with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-13, 27-25) win against visiting Saint Michael's today during
Northeast-10 Conference action at the Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium.

The Golden Knights (15-3/7-2 NE-10) won each set by more than an average of six points, led by 13 kills on the part of sophomore outside hitter
Kelsey Lace. Junior setter
Tori Daniels passed out 12 assists and match-high five service aces as Saint Rose totaled 15 on the afternoon. Additionally, junior setter
Ariana Wilson passed out 17 assists along with five digs and two service aces.

Senior setter Jess McLeod passed out 22 assists for the Purple Knights (11-9/3-7 NE-10) while senior middle hitter Chelsey Covitz swung for a team-best seven kills.

Lace notched four kills and two service aces in the first game to help give the Golden Knights a five-point victory. Six other individuals picked up a kill for Saint Rose, who tallied 11 in the set.

Six service aces in the second game propelled the Golden Knights to a 12-point victory as Tori Daniels accumulated three. Wilson passed out seven of the team's nine assists with Lace knocking down four kills. Furthermore, Senior outside hitter
Christina Strezenec totaled four digs.

Looking at game-point with a 24-19 advantage, Saint Rose quickly had to regroup as the Purple Knights tied the set at 24 in the third set. The Golden Knights benefited from a service error followed by a Wilson service ace to score the final two points.

Up next, the Golden Knights begin the first of three straight road matches this Tuesday with a 7:00 pm meeting at "
Upstate Challenge" rival Le Moyne in Syracuse. Meanwhile, the Purple Knights host New Haven Friday for a 7:00 pm start in Colchester, VT.
