The Plot: The College of Saint Rose concludes the regular season with a two-match homestand beginning with
Northeast-10 Conference foe Bentley this evening.
Last Meeting (10/19/12): Falling behind 1-0 in the match, Saint Rose won the next three sets to earn a 3-1 (19-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-18) victory at Bentley. Sophomore outside hitter
Kelsey Lace attacked for a match-high 12 kills. Senior middle hitter
Alex Gagliano tallied nine total blocks on two solo and seven assisted as the Golden Knights were benefitted by 14 team blocks. For Bentley, Kelsey Buckner ended her night with 11 kills and 13 digs for a "double-double".
Scouting Saint Rose (17-4/9-3 NE-10): The Golden Knights had their four match streak snapped last Saturday with a 3-2 setback at Franklin Pierce. Earlier this season, Saint Rose rattled off 12 straight victories. The Golden Knights lead the NE-10 in service aces per-set (2.14) and are second in blocks (2.47) and points (16.6) average. Gagliano ranks second in the conference and 13th in the country with 1.29 blocks per-set. Freshman middle hitter

Scouting Bentley (16-8/10-2 NE-10): The Falcons have won three in a row and six of their last eight matches after Tuesday's 3-1 win at Stonehill. Tuesday's contest was the first of three straight road matches to conclude the regular season for Bentley. Junior middle blocker Savannah Dominguez is first in the NE-10 with a 3.67 hitting percentage, fourth behind a 3.05 kills average, and is tied for second with 0.40 service aces per-set. Last month, the annual conference Coach of the Year award was named after current head coach Sandy Hoffman.

Up Next: Both teams conclude the regular season tomorrow at 1:00 pm. The Golden Knights host Stonehill for "Senior Day" while the Falcons travel to Syracuse to face Le Moyne.
