The Plot: The College of Saint Rose hosts Northeast-10 Conference rival American International College inside the Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium this evening after a week off from competition.

Last Meeting (9/25/12): Saint Rose came away with a 3-0 (27-25, 27-25, 25-18) victory at American International. Sophomore outside hitter Carrissa Dube finished with a .444 hitting percentage behind a match high 13 kills for the Golden Knights. Junior setter Ariana Wilson led the team with 22 assists and shared the team-high of 11 digs along with junior libero Katy Daniels. Sophomore middle blocker Britt Bryant hit .400 on the strength of 10 kills while sophomore libero Franny Sanchez added an 18 dig effort for the Yellow Jackets.

Scouting Saint Rose (11-1/3-0 NE-10): The Golden Knights have won 10 matches in a row, which is the second longest streak throughout their NCAA era (1992). They won 13 straight in 2006. During the streak, Saint Rose is averaging 13.0 kills per-set while allowing only 8.6 to opponents. For the season, the Golden Knights are first in the NE-10 in both hitting percentage (.240) and service aces per-set (2.17). Furthermore, three individuals are inside the top-10 among the league leaders in hitting percentage. Freshman middle hitter Maryellen Devic is fourth (.350) while senior middle hitter Alex Gagliano (.330) and Dube (.308) rank sixth and seventh respectively.

Scouting American International(10-9/4-1 NE-10): The Yellow Jackets have dropped their last two matches after winning the previous two. American International is sixth in the conference in both digs per-set (15.87) as well as blocks (1.71). Sophomore outside hitter Bailey Swan is fourth in the league with 3.08 kills per-set while also adding 2.44 digs. Freshman setter Hannah Smith averages 0.43 service aces per-set to rank fourth in the NE-10. She is also fifth with 9.06 assists per-set.

Up Next: Both teams return to action Saturday for 1:00 pm matches. The Golden Knights travel to Pleasantville, NY to face Pace while American International hosts Adelphi in Springfield, MA.
