Last Meeting (10/21/11): Aubrey Bobo's 21 kills helped spur a 3-2 win for the Golden Knights in Manchester, NH. Bobo had a .318 hitting percentage to go along with her 21 kills. As a team, Saint Rose added 15 service aces thanks mostly to sophomore setter Tori Daniels who recorded five herself. Sophomore libero Katy Daniels came up with 32 digs on the back line.
Scouting Saint Rose (11-8/4-4 NE-10): The Golden Knights earned back-to-back road wins last Friday and Saturday by identical 3-1 scores at Bentley and Stonehill respectively. Entering this week, junior middle hitter Alex Gagliano was 12th in the nation and second in the NE-10 with a .386 hitting percentage. She is also sixth in the NE-10 with 0.90 blocks per-set. Freshman outside hitter Kelsey Lace currently sits sixth in the league on a 3.15 kills per-set average. Defensivley, Katy Daniels' 4.79 dig average is third in the conference.
Scouting Southern New Hampshire (9-11/1-7 NE-10): After a stretch of eight straight wins, the Penmen have dropped their last seven. Freshman middle hitter Emma Houlihan paces the NE-10 with 3.61 kills per-set. Senior outside hitter Erica Solomon is also in the league's top-10 attackers with 3.07 kills per-set. Freshman setter Catherine Cotton directs the offense to the tune of 9.29 assists per-set.
Up Next: Saint Rose has a quick turn around following tonight's match, as the Golden Knights are in action tomorrow with a 1:00 pm meeting versus Franklin Pierce on this floor. Southern New Hampshire also returns to the court tomorrow at 1:00 pm with a date at Le Moyne in Syracuse.
