LOWELL, MA – The College of Saint Rose women's volleyball team kept up its winning ways, breaking a 1-1 tie with two victories throughout the final two sets on the way to a 3-1 (27-25, 21-25, 25-20, 25-13) Northeast-10 Conference victory at UMass Lowell this evening. In the process, the Golden Knights grabbed their fourth straight triumph and put themselves in position to host a quarterfinal contest in the upcoming league tournament.

Aubrey Bobo continued to put the finishing touches on a standout regular season for Saint Rose (15-8/10-4 NE-10) with 18 kills. Junior middle hitter

Chelsea Tyler added nine and eight kills respectively.

Tori Daniels also put together solid all-around performances. Wilson finished with 21 assists, four digs and two aces. Daniels also handed out 21 assists to go along with nine digs and two aces of her own.
Freshman outside hitter Hannah Rey and sophomore outside hitter Brooke Peterson both stood out for the River Hawks (11-10/7-7 NE-10), who have dropped three in a row. Rey recorded 16 kills and 14 digs, while Peterson added 11 kills and 10 digs.
Both clubs return to action tomorrow when they close out their respective 2011 regular-season slates. Saint Rose heads to Merrimack College for a 1:00 pm start, while UMass Lowell plays host to Le Moyne College at 2:00 pm.
