Pope averaged 16.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists throughout a 2-1 week for the Golden Knights. He also shot 41.2 percent (7-for-17) from the arc and 86.7 percent (13-for-15) from the free throw line. Pope tossed in a season-high 23 points and handed out three assists in Friday’s 67-57 first-round victory at Adelphi and had 14 points and two assists during Sunday’s 67-64 quarterfinal win at Assumption. He also had 13 points, seven rebounds and two more assists during Tuesday’s 60-59, double-overtime setback at New Haven.
