In a NCAA Division I filled field at the University of Albany Invitational, Young came away with a sixth place finish to help Saint Rose take a team third place finish. Young's time of 26:12 on the 8k course solidified a personal record as well as clocking the sixth fastest time in school records at an 8k distance.
