Kurt Monaco returns for his fourth season on the women’s volleyball coaching staff in 2016. Monaco arrives from a stellar playing career at Rivier University in Nashua, N.H.
While at Rivier, Monaco played on the men’s volleyball squad and is still currently listed among the school’s all-time leaders in a number of categories.
Monaco graduated from Rivier with a bachelor’s degree in communications in 2006 that was followed by a master’s in business administration with a marketing concentration in 2008. Prior to graduating with his master’s, Monaco was the head coach of the freshman girls volleyball team and assistant on the varsity squad at Nashua High School South during the 2008 season.
Monaco currently resides in Schenectady, N.Y.
