GENERAL: Team captain for the third consecutive year…Transferred from Herkimer Community College three years ago…Is expected to start behind the plate…Will again most likely bat in the middle of the order…Said his late grandfather George P. Snyder was the person who had the greatest influence on him…Mentioned that Derek Jeter and Jorge Posada are the athletes he most admires…Has a brother that played baseball at the University at Albany…Hobbies include golf and hiking…Favorite foods are pizza and chicken wings.
 
AS A JUNIOR: Played in 31 games and started 20, all but three of which were at catcher…Batted .254 (18-for-71) and finished second on the team with three home runs…Had four multi-hit games…Batted at a .412 clip (7-for-17) throughout his final five games of the season…Went 3-for-4 with a home run in the season finale at Upstate Challenge rival Le Moyne (4/1/14)…Finished 2-for-4 with five RBI in an 17-11 setback versus Southern Connecticut State (4/27/14)…Went 2-for-3 and scored a pair of runs in an 8-7 defeat to visiting Adelphi (4/13/14)…Named to the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters in recognition of academic excellence.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE: Started 45 of the 46 games he appeared in…Scored 21 runs and drove in 16…Stole six bases…Had seven multi-hit games…Went 2-for-4 and drove in a pair of runs in an 11-10 setback versus Bloomsburg (3/3/13)…Brought across three runs in an 18-14 defeat to New Haven (4/20/13)…Wound up 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in an 8-5 setback at Bentley (4/6/13).
 
AT HERKIMER: Was a Mountain Valley All-Conference pick last year for the Generals…Batted .347 (42-for-121) with 26 runs scored and 33 RBI.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-time WAC All-Star in baseball…Was named the  class “C” Defensive Player of the Year in football as a senior…Was a five time MVP; twice in baseball and football and once in basketball.
