Lauren Revesz

Lauren Revesz concluded a standout playing career for The College of Saint Rose women’s basketball team in 2009. Revesz, who transferred from Ohio University prior to the 2006-07 campaign, is now in her eighth year as an assistant coach on the Golden Knights’ staff.
 
Revesz was chosen as an honorable mention pick on the 2009 NCAA Division II State Farm Coaches’ All-America Women’s Basketball Team, becoming the fifth Saint Rose player to garner All-America honors throughout the College’s NCAA II era. Revesz finished second in the Northeast-10 Conference in scoring with 17.2 points per-game as a senior. She also pulled down 6.3 rebounds per-outing and buried 87.1 percent (115-for-132) of her free throw attempts. The latter represents the best single-season mark in school history.
 
In addition to garnering All-America accolades, Revesz was first-team All-League pick in the NE-10, a second-team Daktronics All-Region honoree and was furthermore selected as a first-team Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) All-Star following the 2008-09 season. Prior to that, Revesz earned second team NE-10 All-Conference honors after finishing fifth in the league in scoring (15.0 ppg) and seventh in free throw percentage (.810) as a junior in 2006-07.
 
Revesz concluded her playing career with 1,181 points (792 in a Saint Rose uniform) and played a critical role in two NCAA Tournament appearances (2007 & 2009) during her tenure. Saint Rose registered a 32-17 (.653) record when she suited up. Additionally, her lifetime .844 (200-for-237) free throw percentage ranks first in school annals.
 
Revesz owns a bachelor’s degree in education from Saint Rose (’09). She is currently an educator at Eagle Point Elementary School in Albany and is furthermore pursuing her master's degree.
