Ashley Serrago is in her second year as an assistant to head coach Keith Murray. She is a 2007 graduate of nearby Siena College where she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science after an outstanding career in the pool for the NCAA Division I Saints.
The former team captain broke the school 50-yard freestyle record and was furthermore part of several record setting relay squads. Serrago recorded a career-high 10 first place performances as a freshman in 2004 and was among the top-three finishers in the 100 butterfly at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships that year as well.
Upon her graduation from Siena, Serrago served as the Aquatics Director at the North Albany YMCA for two years. She taught and managed the swimming lesson program for ages six months and up, and also initiated a tri-athlete swim program.
She currently resides in Albany with her dog Marv.
