GENERAL: Team captain…Transfer from Mercyhurst North East Junior College…Led the Saints to a District Championship, their fifth Western New York Athletic Conference (WNYAC) title in six years as well as the school’s first World Series appearance last spring…Penciled in as the squad’s starting catcher…Mentioned Brian Dewey, head coach at Mercyhurst North East, as someone who has had a great deal of influence on her…Best sports moment was competing for the Saints in last year’s World Series…Favorite movies are “300” and “Blue Crush”.

AT MERCYHURST NORTH EAST: Garnered NJCAA Third-Team All-America honors in 2009…Was also named to the WNYAC All-Conference team…Broke her own school record last spring with 13 home runs and established a single-season record with 64 RBI…Batted .403 (54-for-134) with 40 runs, nine doubles and a team-high .806 slugging percentage…Is the program’s all-time leader in RBI (108) and home runs (23)…Also second in hits (96), third in runs (71) and eighth with a .405 career batting average (96-for-237)...Drove in a school record nine runs in the second game of a doubleheader at Savannah State (2/25/08).

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-sport athlete at Franklin Area…Twice named team captain of the softball team…Also competed in volleyball and swimming…Served as her class President…Also co-editor of sales and advertising for the school yearbook.
