Tim Salisbury returns for his second season as an assistant softball coach at The College of Saint Rose in 2010. Salisbury, whose daughter Melissa spent two years in a Golden Knights uniform (2005-06), is no stranger to the coaching profession having spent the better part of 17 years in various coaching capacities.
Most recently, Salisbury was an assistant varsity softball coach at Hoosic Valley Central School from 2000-08. During his tenure, Salisbury teamed up with head coach James Seeley to win three sectional championships, including the 2007 New York State class “C” title. In addition to his coaching responsibilities at Hoosic Valley, Salisbury headed fundraising efforts and spent two summers assisting the Northeast Blue Devils travel softball team.
Salisbury gained valuable head coaching experience guiding the Hoosic Valley Athletic Association travel softball teams from 1992-2007. He has led squads at various levels, including the 13-U, 16-U and 18-U teams over the course of his tenure.
Salisbury, who served on the Hoosic Valley Central School Board of Education for 14 years, is the Owner and Vice President of Quality Retail Systems Inc. in Schaghticoke, NY.
