Ogden-McCloskey is in her first season as an assistant coach with The College of Saint Rose softball team. Ogden-McCloskey, who concluded a standout playing career at the University at Albany in 2007, works primarily with the team’s infield and also assists with the hitting duties.
Ogden-McCloskey was a three-time America East All-Conference performer during her career. She was also named to the league’s All-Rookie squad and the ESPN The Magazine District I Academic All-America® Softball Team. Ogden-McCloskey was part of two America East Championship teams with the Great Danes and appeared in three NCAA Tournaments throughout her four-year playing career. Her senior season culminated with team MVP honors.
Ogden-McCloskey, who earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in special education and literacy at UAlbany, has also worked as an instructor at Frozen Ropes in Albany. She currently teaches special education at Shaker Junior High School.
